Mudiwa School - Our goals are to:​

  • Improve lives, build hope and develop bright futures through quality educational opportunities

  • Reduce walking distance to school by >50% (some children walk 9 mi round trip daily)

  • Increase the level of education within neighboring communities by offering online courses to adults

  • Facilitate volunteers from around the world to teach skills and foster a higher standard of living

Mudiwa Primary School will be built in phases. Each building phase will be based on funding availability.

Building Phases

Phase 1  - $270,000 - Completed

Clear land, fencing, water (bore hole), power, four classrooms, restroom block and staff housing (2 duplexes)

Phase 2 - $165,000

Classrooms, staff housing and sports field

Phase 3  - $260,000

Classrooms, toilets, administrative office and kitchen/dining Hall

​

Phase 4 - $290,000

Classrooms, housing and adult learning center

​In January 2025, Mudiwa School opened with 204 enrolled students (175+ on waiting list). Phase 2 classrooms are under construction, opening early 2026.
